I'm doing a heads and cam package on my budies 96 T/A and I was wondering if there is any special way to put the opti back on Ive always done the non vented ones but this is a first for this one. If there is any special tips to installing this please let me know Thanks.

I am doing an engine swap on my 95 m6 and putting in a 94 lt1 using the 95 intake manifold, exhaust and computer. My question is, the 94 opti is a non-vented type will this give me any trouble? also in the pic there is a vaccum line near the throttle cable withe what looks to be a blue diaphram. dies this go to the vented opti? should I just plug it?

Pretty easy as the pin can only go in one way. No more trying to line up the "missing" spline on the non vented opti's.

 

Are you swapping the vented opti or are you going to use the non vented opti and run the engine "as is"?
