Hey, I recently got a 1996 ss camaro... The ram air system looks like its kindof crooked to me... Anyone who has this year model can u tell me if its normal? Someone plz send me a pic of your ram air intake from this year..

Yes, they get crooked. They are made of plastic and eventually the pressure from maf/elbow makes them get crooked. Mine does the same thing. Its just a dumb design, but it still works.

yes, most likely. Mine came off a wrecked in the rear 1996 ss. It sat in the salvage yard for a long time. Your car is 8 years old, despite having hardly any mileage, I would still expect it to do it. Its no big deal, mine didnt really do it much when i first go it, but i bought a new intake elbow and it got worse. if u put a worn out intake elbow in it, it might straighten up. -Michael
