Hey, I got the ss... I really like it .. its fast, but I was wondering of any simple mods I might do to make it a little faster for now?

Twin turbo setup with a roots blower setup and nitrous. Build up the bottom end and make it into forged 454. Send the heads off to AI and slap a healthy blower cam in there. Get some gears and a Vigilante stall. Yeehaw!

start with the basics. Cold air, and exhaust. Maybe go gears, depending on what you like. But some 3.73 wouldnt hurt. Definitley start with cai and exhaust tho. These are the basics to performance, and should be the first thing anyone buys imo.

Would the engine have to be pulled for headers?

To spice it up a little I would get some nice headers, and throw a gear in it. 3:42's or 3:73's are the way to go for an A4. I would also get some BMR LCA's and maybe some SFC's. Suspension is a major key if you want to get off the line fast!

Oh yea, I would invest in some drag radials too. They are one of the best mods I've done to my car.

Nope, they should just slide in. Some long tube headers may require you to jack the engine up a little though.

Is there anything that I can do to make the SS ram air any better? And how good is the SLP exhaust?

i just cut the baffles outa my ss scoop, if you drive it everyday (rain, snow ect.) i wouldnt do that.

i also went with the 94-95 style slp headers. the dual cat setup on the 96-97 cars suck. its too heavy and too restrictive.

sub frames
gears
stall
lower control arms
drag radials
1.6 rockers

here are some pics of mine

a lil burnout

Get a K & N filter for it.Do a search you will find the #.TB bypass.Then Headers are a must.After that it gets serious,cam, heads,skys the limit.
