let me start off by saying that i have searched but havent quite found the answer that i am looking for. i have an motor/tranny from a 96 that has le heads and cam and a tuned pcm for it. i am trying to put it into the 95 car and retain the obd2 harness and pcm to retain the custom tune that it has. i have seen other threads but mostly all i see is people saying to just use the 95 harness but i would like to know if anyone has modified there harness to work in a 95? thanks

 

Why complicate things. You'll end up with an OBD-II PCM that is harder/more expensive to tune and to data log.

Have your 95 PCM tuned to match the tune that's in the 96 PCM. Then all you have to do with the 96 engine is swap in your 95's knock sensor.
