On a stock 96 WS6 6 Speed... what would the car top at out revving to 6k in each gear? Some kids on the SRT4 War stories forum are saying the LS1/LT1 cars hitting 140 in 4th... but I saw my friends 94 TA GT rev to 5800 and still only get to 125 or so... that was in 4th as well. So i'm confused, how stupid are these people at the forum, or are these kids right and the speedometer really is wrong?

No Trans Am came with 2.73 in the rear?

 

I think some auto's may have, or atleast like a 3.23....

 

some autos come with 2.73s or 3.23s . 6 speed 93s come with 3.23s and 94 and up 6 speeds come with 3.42s

 

93 model 6 speeds had the 3.23 or 2.73 rear ends, that is why there are 2 93 T56 tranny's.
