96 LS1 front cover

I just purchased a non running 1996 Z that did not run. After removing the Optispark and finding the tracing in the cap and the cam/crank timing off one tooth. I found someone had ground off the inner lip of the timing chain/front cover. I need a replacement cover and haven't been able to locate one. Is this a used part only or is there an after market producer? Advanced Auto, Jeggs and Summit don't sell them.
Please email me at brentandteresa@netcommander.com.

Re: 96 LS1 front cover

If you have a 96 then you do not have an LS1. You have an LT1.
