96-97 SS owners, I need some help

I have a SLP SS ram air hood and air box on my 96 Z28. I wanted to get a High flow air filter, and usually use a K&N, but I have been told that they do not fit properly and not to use the K&N. I did some research and found Holley makes a power shot filter for the 96-97 SS, but I can't find anyone that carries it.

What filters are you using and where did you get it.

Thanks again for your help.

The K&N filter (jeep) fits just fine. It however, has horizontal oriented pleats which could theoretically make it subject to accordian with high flow. Holley has come out with a filter that will also fit, but it is vertically oriented and eliminates the accordion feature.

I have both. I ordered mine from a local store. You can find the number under Holley filters.

I'm sure someone has the number, I just can remember off hand.

Ask me again tomorrow if you can't find it and I will look it up for you.

I did look on the Holley site and saw the filter in the parts section. But none of the listed dealers showed that they carry this filter.

I guess I might have to just call Holley.

I think thunderracing.com has some Holley filters.
