96-97 lt1 in 95 T.A
You will probably have to reuse the coil from your 95. Everything else should be the same.
I was saying the same thing, I just assumed the sensor would not be there. If it is, don't connect anything to it....just make sure all of the wires on the 95 harness are plugged in somewhere.
You need the swap the knock sensors..... the 100Kohm 96/97 OBD-II knock sensor will not work with the 95 PCM, which is looking for the 4.5Kohm OBD-I sensor.
You will not use the EVAP vacuum switch located on the passenger side valve cover of the 96. You can just leave the CKP sensor in the timing cover as a "plug".
If you still have you AIR system functioning, the holes in the exhaust manifolds on the 96 may not be the same diameter as the ones on the 95. The 96 will have a lot of extra components near the AIR pump, and an extra vacuum connection to the driver's side of the intake manifold for the AIR system (depending on whether or not the AIR "recall" was done on the 96). Check Shoebox's site for diagrams of the differences in the AIR system between different years.
