The car starts and runs ruff for 3 seconds then dies. If I give it gas it revs up for the same 3 seconds and dies. Seems like the computer or something is not giving it fuel to run more the 3 seconds.

I checked:

All Fuses
Unpluged maf, then repluged maf
Checked all vacuum lines
unpluged battery and reset it

I do have the VATS disabled. I bought a 3 wire pc of ebay that plugs into the PCM. That worked for a long time, now it seems like its doing the same thing. Could the connections be bad to that again? Or could it be my opti or fuel pump? Car has 117k miles.

Try checking the fuel pressure when you turn the key on, and while it is running for the 3 seconds. The pump may be throwing fits and is just trying to hold on.

Did you do the above suggestion and check the fuel pressure at the rail?

 

Mine did the same thing turned out to be my fuel pump.I also replaced the fuel pressure regulator just for good measure,runs fine know.
