Hi,

So when i start i get a click from the starter but no crank. After that i lost the dash light and head light, no power anymore. I remove the key and i stand for 3 minutes. I try again and it start. Why? I do this 3 days later same problem. Battery voltage 12.63. Can anyone help me?

My car 1995 z28 5.7l auto.

 

sounds like you have a loose ground or power connection somewhere. first make sure your battery connections are clean and tight with no corrosion. then make sure your accessory hub didnt come loose (the little red box by the battery) or any of the grounds in that area either. Loose connections can cause some weird stuff. They have taken me off guard a couple times.

 

The problem was the positive connection on the battery, too loose. Thanks Joeliusz28
