95 z28 wont stay running

95 z28 wont stay running

looking to buy one and i talked to the guy who owns it and he says that it will start right up but then die within about 3 seconds or so. hes sellin only for 1,000 with 120,xxx miles and is a 6 speed. all stock that i know of.

what could be the problem with the car???

Is it giving an SES light?

I think many here would say opti but someone might chime in.

If it was me, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Sounds simple and electrical with minimal repair costs involved if YOU do the work.

The car I just got was doing the same exact thing..120k, $1200 and it would start for a few seconds and die reguardless if you had your foot on the petal. It was the fuel pressure regulator. You could smell gas really badly inside the car and the vacuum line to the regulator smelled like gas as well.
