I was reading somewhere that not all 95's have the vented optispark and that not all 95's are odbI. Is this true? i thought my car was obd1 and had a vented opti, how can I tell? Im reading that the early model 95's dont have the vented opti but the later run 95's have the vented opti and are also obdII? Im new to the LT1 so im not to good at this yet.

 

My 95 is an obd1 and has a vented optispark. Im pretty sure all 95s were vented optis. Now im not sure on the obd1 obd2 question so i wont answer that. But you can see if your opti is vented by the hose that goes to the intake elbow. is there a little hose on your intake elbow?

 

All 95 Z28s are OBD1 even though they have a OBD2 type diagnostic port connector. They are also all vented optispark.

 

from what I was reading on shoebox's site I believe was that all z's were obd1 and the only model that came with obd2 was the v6 model towards the end of the year.
