95 z28 HELP!!!

95 z28 cc503 swap. When slowly running through the gears everything is fine. When you get on it and shift up and let off the clutch the rpms sometimes jump on acceleration. Any ideas?

From the limited info, sounds like the clutch is slipping. But that's just a wild guess.
