I have a 94 Z-28 and spun a rod bearing, bought a 95 T/A LT1 I rebuilt the bottom end and put the motor in. All i had to buy was a opti connection harness that goes from the opti to the harness at mid intake passenger side. And the opti vented hoses that go from the opti to the intake vaccume ports. I bought the wire harness off ebay for 35.00 shipped to my house. It was orginal GM part. The opti vented hoses were 31.00 off ebay. Also a GM part. This is a must as you are going from a non vinted opti to a vented opti. Everything else is the same. EXCEPT: Oil pressure sensor. The 94 sensor is located above the oil filter and the 95 is located behind the intake on the block were the intake sits. U can use your 94 sensor if you dont plan on running Pacesetter LT's. My sensor above the oil filter was to long and hit the headers. I could have cut the wire and made it work, but i had the sensor from the 95 T/A LT1 and used it. I like having the sensor behind the intake anyway as i can hook my mechanical guage the and not have to worry about the hose getting burned by the headers. I did learn a lesson with the trany bellhousing bolts: on the drivers side, third bolt up: make room on the fire wall when the engine is removed to allow for wrench movement. this bolt took the longest to remove and install. I dont mind having a dent on my firewall (trany tunnel) no one will ever see it. In fact when i take my motor out in the future i will make room on all bolts.
I would buy new motor mounts: I really did'nt think about this and my headers rub the bellhousing on pass side and one tube hits on the drivers side. I can see my motor move when i rev the motor. I would recommend solid motor mounts as they will last longer and you feel much more motor. Gotta love that. If i think of anything else i will drop you a pm. I hope this is not a small novel, I got carried away. Let me know if you have anyother questions. IF I AM INCORRECT WITH ANYTHING (ANYONE) FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME. Later, Curt

Only the "early" 94's had the oil pressure sensor above the oil filter. "Late" production has it on top of the block, like the 95+ years. It was a running change early in the production cycle.
