'95 Chip swap?

im gettin a '95 LT1 from a Roadmaster and it was mated to an automatic. im putting it in my 92 with a T56. my question is can i get a chip from a '95-'97 Z28/TA with a six speed and simply swap the two to make the motor work with my t56? im also planning on a PPIII will that matter?

Only a '93 uses a chip. You'd have to get a whole PCM and a new wiring harness. There's a company called Painless Wiring that sells these wiring kits. If you surf Ebay long enough you can usually score a used PCM. If you want to get one with a guarantee try http://www.gmsports.com or maybe even someone like http://www.pcmforless.com can find you one.
