95-97 timing cover

is a 95 timing cover interchangeable with a 96/97? i saw a page linked with the differences of the different years, but it was unclear if a 95 could be used on a 96-97 car and visa versa

Re: 95-97 timing cover

The 1995 cover has no provision for the crank position sensor that the 1996-97s do.

You COULD but you will need to fill the whole where the CPS goes (might be tricky) your best bet is to find a 95 timing cover or like I said find a way to fill the hole in the 96-97 cover

Don't know if you're aware, but the cam will have to be modified or changed for the switch over.
