95-97 style mac midlengths

ok im gonna get headers soon and since im on stock heads/cam and not plannin on doin that anytime soon i was plannin on getting the 97 macs. but ive heard that the 95-97 styles arent as good as the 93-94. why would this be?? is there really that much of a difference?? well i just thought id find out before i order them, im prolly gonna order em from jethot so there coated. anyone know how much the macs are from jethot?? thanx for the info. later

i think you got the years mixed up. the 93's are different from the 94-95's, which are different from the 96-97. the 94-95 are single cat style, meaning the drivers side header will be longer, than the driver side header for the 96-97 dual cat style, since the dual cat headers need to accomodate the room for that damn coffee can cat

I've heard the 95s are the best. I read a couple of post where guys with 97 maros were trying to get the 95 style MACs.

i ordered the 94-95 style for my 96 for the reasons I stated above

so would i be at a loss going with the 97 style?? also if i did order a different style what would i do for a y pipe?? my cars a 97 so i would need the dual cat setup.

actually i was going to get the ORP, forget cats who needs em. lol i have emissions here in IL but i got ways around it.

I have a 93 and the only difference in the headers is the emmissions bettween those and 94-95. And i also went with and orp. I think no cat is the way to go.
