95 to 97 lt1 swap problems

O.k. to start I have a 95 lt1 trans am. I put a 97 motor and brain in my car. The 97 has more sensors then my 95. well this effect my engine because I noticed there is some plugs next to my manifold and some for my crank sensor. Can some one advise me what to do.

Did you change to the 1997 the wiring harness, too?

If you are using the 1995 harness (or even the 1997), just use the 1995 computer and you don't have to worry about the extra sensors.

My previous post indicated you could use either harness. With the 97 computer, there is the EVAP vaccum switch, rear O2 sensors and crank sensor that are monitored that you won't be able to wire up using the 95 harness. Other than that there is virtually no difference.
