Hi everyone...thanks in advance for your help.

I have a 1994 z28 in need of repairs...just not sure where to begin. Im thinking it may be the opti...but give me your thoughts.

This issue didn't start until I washed the engine with "gunk"

When you start the car after it has sat for a few hours or even a day, it will crank right up, sometimes it'll turn back off but when you put the car in drive to accelerate, its almost like you can't get any power whatsoever. The car will bog down, and it makes a popping noise of sorts when you give it gas. After sitting and revving the car up for a little bit, it will run and drive to get you where you need to go, but doesn't drive to its fullest potential.

Again I appreciate everyone's help. What are your thoughts?
