If you have a 94 maybe you can look at yours or help me with the wires to the communication port of a 94. A schematic or something would help me maybe also?
On my communication port I have 4 wires,one of the wires black/w white stripe wire(isolated by itself to one side of plug/port) is not hooked up to anything just about 10" of wire. I did not cut it its been that way since I got the car.
Can you help me determine where if anywhere this wire is supposed to go to? I am about to start messing w/ tunercat and datamaster so I need to make sure this port in in order correct?

What cavity does the wire come from on the DLC?

 

Looks like cavity G Shoebox and thanks for the tech aide madwolf.

So you know... I did check Shoebox tech first. It helps for one to know the correct name first . Somehow scanned right over that DLC. But I'm still not convinced my wire went to the keyless entry. Can you verify? The lone black/white wire on the right.

Will the wire being disconnected cause problems with CORRECT connection to the pcm for data logging and programming?

some info: I have never used keyless entry or had a fob with the keys on this car.

I can't see how that wire can affect anything but keyless programming.
