94 lt1 firebird wont start after winter storage?

ran fine when i parked it in the barn for the winter. turn over fine but wont start. fuel pump comes on and i have fuel at the engine.
I wanted to find out if there was something common that fails after not starting for a few months like the thing above the coil. i know about optispark failures.
i havent had time to check for spark and run any test. wanted to know what parts to test first a have a volt meter and a shop manual.

Did you put fuel stabilizer in the gas before it was stored?

Also if you had less than a full tank of gas in it before it was stored you may have some water in your tank from condensation.

I stored mine for 6 winters before I moved to Tucson from Maine

you username is very ironoic. anyway, i just pulled mine of storage and it started right up. I removed the battery and put it on a block of wood over the winter. Also, i used fuel stabilizer. First thing to do would be to check battery volts or try another one if you have it.
