I am putting a 94 Lt1 into a 1997 camaro. I know I need to change the opti plug. I am using the 1994 computer, and the 1997 harness. The plug for the coil is differant. 94 has the dual plug and the 97 harness has the single plug. Can I just buy a 97 coil and plug it in to the harness? Will my obd1 computer acknowlage and use the single plug set up. Thanks Eric L

 

Pretty sure you could use the late model coil and be ok.
