94 corvette non vented to 95 camaro vented

I go the deal of a life time on a lt1 with 30k miles,It came out of a corvette.I have a 95 camaro with a vented system.I know to do the full conversion id have to change the cam, timing cover ect. Can i just use the non vented opti in my car until i do a cam swap later? It was a complete engine.I've read alot of articles and it looks like the vented system is designed to keep the moister out. Any timing differnces?

You would need the opti harness off the 94, if you intend to swap the whole thing in. No timing differences. The vent system does help to remove any moisture and ozone created inside the opti.

Awesome it came with the wiring harness so im good to go there.i noticed the crank hub is dif too the one for the corvette is alot thicker and the belt wouldnt line up.Should i just unbult the 3 bolts and switch harmonic balancers or change the whole thing.I know some years had the dif size keyways.

You'll need to use your hub and pulley for your accessories. The 'vette uses slightly different spacing. LT1s don't use a keyed hub.

Found out the vette also uses a different intake and fuel rail. It doesnt have the notch or cut out in the intake where the fuel rail sits flush on top. question...what gave the corvette 300 hp compared to the 275 in the camaro? Is it the heads, intake, cam? Im gonna have to use my old intake to use my fuelrail.DID they use the same #injectors?
