94 camaro LT1 water pump

well, as im sure alot of you are familiar, gettin some pretty good liquid out of my weep hole. Any suggestions on the best replacement water pump by price and by quality. I'll go with oem delco, but noticed bosch has one for almost 90 bucks cheaper. Would love to only do this once.. second one in under 3 yrs.

OEM is the only way to go on just about everything with these cars... Get what ya pay for, its kind of a bad job you dont want to do it again...

From what I have seen a $50 reman from the parts store is BETTER than the "new" ones from GM.

I bought a reman when I replaced my Opti. Haven't had an issue in 7 months.

I bought a reman from napa put it on and it started leaking out of the impeller shaft in a couple of days. I swapped it out under warranty and the second one would only leak when I was driving the car. I would let the car warm up and couldn't find a leak. I would drive it and smell coolant and see a little under the car everytime I would get back but I couldn't find the leak. Eventually I came to the conclusion that there was a hair line fracture around the impeller that would only leak when the rpms were higher which caused enough pressure to cause it to leak slowly. I returned the pump and purchased a new one for another $120 and it has been installed for the last 6 years without any issues.

I actually drove around with the leak on the water pump for 6 months until I finally decided to get it fixed. It's not a daily driver so I probably only put a 1000 or so miles on the car with it leaking. I also pressure tested the system and the pressure wouldn't drop which was a pain in the butt. I even took it to a few places and asked them questions about it and nobody has a clue where it was coming from. I'm just glad I decided to swap the pump a third time to finally resolve the issue.
