94-97 interchange problem (4l60e) Need help bad!

Okay I have my blazer swap done it consists of a lt1 with a 94 harness and a 97 trans.

I keep getting a tcc feed back fault code, I had pcm's for less change the program to a 95 I was told that the program should fix the problem but there was some repinning on the trans to do.
Here is the problem I have the schematics for both the 94 and the 97 and it seems as if the 97 has a wire that does not exsit on the 94. they both have a tcc wire but the 97 also shows a pwm tcc control? what the heck is going on here has anyone ever done the swap is it possible or am I fugged? I need help this is the only thing holding me back. Thanks
Elec

Did the tranny from the 97' originally come in a car with traction control? Also did the 94' PCM come in a car that didn't have traction control? I don't know a lot about what your talking about without seeing it but that's the first thing that came to mind when I read your post. That might be where your problem is arising. Maybe the tune didn't correct your problem like it was supposed to, possibly by accident so it's doing the same thing it always did. Just a thought, it might help you get somewhere. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

They were both non traction control units. The only difference being the pwm.

I would say you need to figure out how to provide a circuit from the PCM to the PWM solenoid. Maybe run a wire if you have to.

you need to tell teh computer everything is a 94

thats the problem... 94 trans didnt have teh 1 silonoid, everyone else did.... goto a 94 program and the problem should go away.

when i had a new trans built... they used a newer one...... and i had the same problem from pcm for less... programed me a 95 and it needs a 94

I sold a 94 4L60E to a friend who put it in a 95. Bryan at PCMforless "adjusted" the PCM to account for the lack of a PWM in the 94 tranny. I didn't do the install but was told that the harness had an extra pin in it (for the PWM) and if I remember correctly he said they had to remove that pin out of the harness and then plug it into the 94 tranny because there was no "slot" for it. The car ran perfect after the PCMforless program.

I have a 94 engine with a 96 tranny. Bryan at pcmforless.com just programmed mine for a 95 and I plugged in one wire from the PCM and ran it to the wire in the master round plug in the 4l60e. This controls the PWM solenoid for the 96 tranny. No problems here. I am about to change to a 94 tranny though and have to change the PCM back to the 94 program.
