94-95 headers on a96
The headers will fit. The reason I say this is I use to have dual cats on my car. Because california in 95, the f-bodies that were equipped with A4s in 95 were given dual cats. So I decided to do the dual cat to single cat conversion. I bought a set of mac headers and y-pipe for a single cat car. The fit was perfect. The only thing that I needed was a s-pipe to connect the i-pipe to the cat and you will need to buy a cat or if you don't have emissions off road pipe and thats pretty much it. Oh yeah you might wanna extend the o2 sensor wires on the driverside because I notice it was alittle bit too short to reach the y-pipe. But thats pretty much it. And since you are deleting your rear o2s thru PCM which I am thinking, than you don't need o2 sims. If you do this conversion you will be glad that you did the conversion since you can get to all your plugs and you don't have that coffee can cat on the driverside which is next to the block and oil filter. If you have any more questions please feel free to e-mail me or send me a PM. I would be glad to help you out. Also if you need a step by step guide to install the headers I can give you a site as well. Good luck

Single cat conversion:
Mac 93-95 headers
slp s pipe
ORP or maybe carsound cat
02simms(need 2 right?)

I just saw that you have programming from pcmforless. He can also do everything I mentioned above. Don't forget you can get the MAC's jet hot coated directly from jet hot for $561 to your door.

hey man, don't know about 94-95 to a 96,,,,but i bought 94-95 headers for my 97, and the headers themselves bolted right up perfectly, but the threading on the egr tubes on the front of the header don't match up to the stock egr things,,,i wen't EVERYWHERE to try to match the thread, even a company that manufactures them, and its a special gm thread, and obviously gm doesn't make anything to adapt like that to any aftermarket,,just saying before you take your car apart, take off the egr adapter and see if it screws into your header....i think 1997 is the only year that has that special threading. just saying.
