Works great........ It seems to change the shift points of the transmision and the shifts seem to be a little firmer.

I've got it on my truck and love it. I also have pcm4less tuning, Bryan made the performance shift mode rock solid, like having a full race tranny when performance mode is activated.

best thing about that, I can hit the button, get jerked around by the tranny, then when I get tired of it, I can turn it off, unlike shift kits that you install in the valve body.

good luck.

If you search for "performance shift" you will probably find lots of info.

?? define comfortable.

When activated it it holds the gear till higher up in the rpm range and "stiffens" the shifts so it's like dropping the clutch in a manual. turn it off and it's like your normal everyday daily driver.

it makes the shifts like installing a shift kit, although w/ the shift kits, you can't turn them off like you can the performance mode.

It does make some changes to downshift timing, but not when TPS is at 0%. In addition, 2>1 shift timing is not changed at all in performance mode at any TPS percentage.

If you have Tunercat or LT1_edit, you could experiment with the 2>1 timing if you wanted.
