93z dies please help !!

My Z died driving down the hwy. It restarted 15 min later, then drove 3 min and died again. After 4 times I had it towed to the mech. The car refused to die for him and drove fine for 2 wks. Then yesterday it did it again twice. Its not my daily driver but I cant even drive it becouse Im scared it will leave me stranded. The optispark is new and I replaced the fuel filter. It sounds like the fuel pump problem in my blazer. Thanks Buy the way when I attempt to restart after dies it turns over fine.

I had a similar problem twice, once it was only a bad coil wire the other time it was the MAF sensor, hope this helps.

fuel pressure

If you suspect fuel pump, run some tests on fuel pressure if eqipped to do so. If in need of a pump, there is a GP for the Walbro 255 pumps in the GP section for $99.99.

Check the Coil and Coil Wire and the ICM (located right on top of coil)
