Question 93z

Hello, I have a problem with misfiring and breaking up, the distribut cop and rotor was replace at 23K and was very expensive! now they sat the wires are gone is this posible or are they looking to cover the cost to warrenty on the work they Did, Please let me know Thanks muscleZ

Just pull the wires and measure the resistance with an ohm meter. They should read near 0 resistance. Don forget the coil wire also.

Even if you've only got 23K miles on a 93, the wires and everything else are now 10 years old. Could be a case of the insulation deteriorating, and that's not going to show up with a resistance check. Warranty work on a 93? What kind of warranty do you have?
