I have a stock 93 M28 with McLeod Street Twin and am putting down over 700 rwhp without a problem.

700rwhp? have you had the tranny rebuilt and strenghted? I busted my stock tranny with less than 500ft/lbs and there wasnt much left other than the case and a couple gears. Anyone know who does t56 upgrades? outrageous prices or not, just want someone who does good work.

Like I said my tranny is stock. You may want to contact D&D performance for upgrades to your t56.

seems like the M29 option was under rated. If the same trans was used in the Viper.

It's hard to believe that the 94 and new can take 100lbs more torque than the m29 93

Does anyone know what the different parts are in a m29 93 that would cause it to have a 100ft lbs less of a torque rating?
I thought the only difference was the gear ratios
