I think the 93 still used gears on the VSS to adjust for tire size/gear ratio?

You have to change the "drive" and "driven" gears in the tranny. Sorry, I don't have a part # for your setup though. You could probably call a dealership and ask for a part number on them.

Like said before, you need to change the gears, no sensor.

You need to change the speedometer gears. There is no sensor that you can reprogram. Try contacting Lingenfelter, they offer recalibration gears for most rear end ratios.

What's this talk of gears? My 93 has electronic sensor speedo for the tranny, no cable.

Pretty sure anyway

Edit: I just crawled under my car with a flashlight (yes at 2am here) and I did not see any #'s on my sensor. BUT, I guess it does look like it could be a gear driven sensor

93 4L60 has a drive and driven gear behind the speed sensor, 94 and up has a electronic speed sensor with two magnetic strips on it.

I found them at www.acdelco.com the easy way to tell 2.73 is black and the 3.23 is white
