93 Z28 Headers

Hey, I've had my car since I could drive and just now started modifying it. It is a 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. It has a Vortech Elbow, SLP Intake, and Magnaflow Exhaust. I'm trying to finish the exhaust off with some headers. I don't know whether to get long tubes or shorties and what brand. I'm really looking for what will be the easiest to install. I've heard LT's are really hard and require a lot of work but have great HP gains. On the other hand, shorties are the easiest. Just trying to save a few bucks by doing it myself. Thanx

If you have to deal with emissions, go with the AZ Speed and Marine if you can swing it. They're outstanding headers, give a ton of power, and the craftsmanship is beautiful. Just my $.02

I installed MAC headers on a 93, the only problem is the air tubes are different in 93 and require year specific headers. Getting 93 headers from MAc was impossible, actually I was disapointed with their customer service because they keep saying they were going to make another batch but never did, after three months I decided to go with the 94-95 headers. I had to take the AIR off to make it work. The actual install was easy, but I am a mechanic and work on all sorts of stuff.

Longtubes are more of a pita to install on a LT1 but are the way to go..from experience believe me ,headers are one mod on a LT1 u dont wanna go cheap on...get a nice set of LTs and u wont regret it.

I thought the LT's were one of the cheaper options out there!
