First of all, the PCM stores the DTC codes, if you think I am wrong, look it up!! And as for the ABS...I got that tied in with the wrong thread. Sorry.
All the info I gave him was the DTC 26 code and how to reset his PCM (to reset the code) and I am not trying to argue with you!

Thank you
James

Ok my friend, I'm not trying to argue either. Apparently you are reading something into my posts that isn't there. I said nothing about storing codes. I have much experience in troubleshooting electrical problems in lots of areas not just cars. That is my profession. Read this thread for what we just went through on the same subject. Take care, Lyle A

Ok, so we are getting the same symptoms of when the dtc 26 comes on. I do notice that in warmer weather, it takes longer to come on, in colder weather, it comes on alot sooner.

You would have to have a circuit description or know the COMPLETE theory of operation of ABS...mainly just the circuit description!!

Thats all I can say...but I will keep looking...

James:

Apparently you think were all sort of stupid here because we too are not "a (sic) Electrical Power production Specialist in the Air force." You might want to poke around a little and find out what some of the other people are capable of, before you start treating people like they are dumb. Many of us have the "credentials"..... but that's not what this board it all about. Its "helping" one another and "learning", not thinking you're smarter than everyone else.

In no way was I trying to say I was smarting than you guys!! I did not give him my job to say I wwas better than him! I gave it out of a attempt to make conversation. I am not even close to being a genious at the LT1's. I have admitted I was a little mixed up in this thread and I HAVE apologized for it. Please forgive me if you think that is what I am trying to do is "treating people like theyre dumb". But I am trying to "poke around" to see who will help benefit me later and know if I have problems that I can go to them. So I am sorry if I have offended you or Lyle. But I have apologized and I am not seeing where you are getting that I am trying to make you guys feel dumb.
Thank You
James
