My 93 has a check engine light on. Scan tool says code 26. Troubleshooter has no data for a code 26

DTC 26 for a 1993 =
Quad-Driver Module (QDM) #1 circuit
applies to:
- AIR pump relay circuit
- EGR solenoid
- EVAP solenoid

It can be any of the above things, but my money is on a blown AIR pump fuse.

93s had a service bulletin for this. The wire from the fuse box to the air pump is to small a gauge wire and burns out. The bulletin is just to replace with a thicker gauge wire. If you have a volt meter check the wire ( think it's white ).

Check to see if the AIR pump fuse or fan fuse is blown. If so, check your AIR pump if you still have it. One of the AIR check valves went bad on my old 93 and it let exhaust back into the AIR pump. The warm air built up condensation and filled the AIR pump with water. It eventually froze one winter night and blew the fuse. Your pump might be seized or one of the fans could be having problems.
