Has anyone been able to remove the a/c clutch (or just re-shim it) from one of these 4th gen cars without having to open up the system. I can't tell if there is enough room to jockey the compressor around to allow access of clutch removal tools. It's pretty tight clearance down there. I hoped someone had done this job before I attempt it.I think I can eliminate the intermittent scraping noise I'm getting by re-shimming the clutch. I have another clutch if the whole unit has to be replaced, but I don't want to disconnect the refrigerant lines in the process. Thanks for any help.
