I have a 93 z28 with the LT1. I have short ubeheaders, cam (dont know specs guy i bought it from didnt know them either other than it had one), flowmasters, 3.73 gears,taylor wires,

I want to make 400hp at the rear w/out laughing gas. I know people have made 400hp w/a good set of heads and cam. What would be a good set of heads the stock ones or the LT4 heads and what cam should i use.

P.S. I know I need bigger injectors but I'd like to know what heads and cam

You start by reading

 

400 aint cheap, but it isnt the point where it gets REALLY expensive.

You will need most all the bolt ons. LT/Mid headers, new TB, decent ported heads, good exhaust (flowmaster is usually not the best for power), a decent sized cam in the 230 duration, good valvetrain, and a decent tune.

That should let you hit 400 at the wheels roughly through an M6 (prolly 380-390 in an auto).
