93 LT1 oil pressure switch

Hi,
I'm going to try to replace my oil pressure switch tomorrow. Any ideas on how to put it back on or what tools i will need? it was very easy to take off, because the only thing still in the motor was the plug with threads. Any ideas? Thanks for looking

An oil pressure sensor socket is recommended. Though on a 93, it is in an easy place to access, so your choice of tools is more plentiful.

Be advised. There are two different switches for the LT1, but your car only has 1. There is a 1/8 thread switch and 1/4 thread switch. Make sure you know which one you have. The one that uses 1/8" also uses an adapter fitting. A 1/4" thread switch will work no matter what if you have this adapter and do not use it. If your car came with the 1/4" switch, you cannot use the 1/8"

Socket is about $6 or so. Its just an extra deep well metric. Do not overtighten it. Snug works well.
