I am replacing my radiator with a new GM radiator for my 93 LT1 buildup and wanted to replace the coolant level sensor. To my surprise, GM has discontinued this sensor for a 93 LT1. The 94-97 sensor is a different part number. I believe the plug in the wiring harness is different for 93 vs the 94-97. I checked with NAPA, no luck on that sensor either for a 93 LT1. Has anyone else run in to this and what is our options for a new coolant level sensor for a 93 LT1. Any help or ideas? Thanks.

 

change the connector to the 94+ one, then use a 94+ sensor
