93 heads same as 96?

93 heads same as 96?
i bought a 93 lt1 out of a camaro, which i am buldign into a 383, does anyone know if the heads are the same as my car which it is goin in, a 96 camaro? thanks. i already no i need my intake manafold so i am wonderign if the motor builder is goin to need my heads. thanks agin

If you have the 561 castings on your 96, then yes they'll be different castings... but they're interchangeable

Most prefer the older castings, as they're thicker.. but the newer ones flow slightly better as-cast in my experience.
