'93 Guys with hypertech chip...take that POS out

From day 2 of owning my '93 I've had a Hypertech Thermomaster chip in it...I decided to take it out one day, and my car ran a hell of a lot better. To the tune of 2 tenths in the 1/8th mile. What sucks is that I keep hitting my rev limitor in 1st, so I know that my car is actually more than 2 tenths faster than with the chip.

Do your self a favor like I did...pull it out and sell it on ebay!

Totally agree with you. Mine was crap. Might I suggest giving PCMforless a ring? The guy that does the 93 chips goes by the name Rooster on the LT1 Speed Density Tech Board and does great work. I can attest. Also, check out the board while you're at it.

That's what I was thinking....but what all should I ask for when I have PCM for less burn a chip for me. Where should i set the rev limiter at, the only other thing i miss from the hypertech was that it turned my fans on way earlier than stock programing.

Just give rooster an email, and he'll set you up. He'll ask for what you have done to the vehicle to get the tune totally set for your vehicle. My fans come on at a really low temp, albeit I don't know where. His work's up tight, and he definitely knows what he's doing.
