93 Camaro Z28 engine jerking!
My husband is deployed and I'm trying to get his car fixed before he gets back. 93 Camaro Z28. When I go to accelerate the thing starts missing real bad and jerking. It almost acts as if it's not getting gas or something. It's at an auto shop right now and they replaced the coil which did not help. They said it died on them when they took it for a spin to see if the new coil had fixed the problem. Anybody got a clue as to what the problem is?
Re: 93 Camaro Z28 engine jerking!
optispark
or bad wires/plugs
but my $$ is on the opti...it's well known for going bad and causing misses at low rpms, coil is typical of high rpm miss.
summit racing now sells a unit to replace it, not sure if the quality or price is better than a factory piece
