Is a 93 automatic throttle body the same as the 6-Speed car tb?

Is a 93 automatic throttle body the same as the 6-Speed car tb?

does anyone know for sure? I have a guy wanting to buy mine, and wants to know if it will work on a 6speed

Not the factory ones, the factory Auto T/B had the trannys throttle cable provision.

Yup what WS Sick said.

Autos had a cable bracket for the shift cable.

so it wouldn't work on a 6 speed?

It'll work, considering a 6speed wont need a throttle valve cable like a 700r does. It'll just have the provision for the cable, same other wise.

thats odd. my 93 6speed bracket had the spot for the tv cable for the 700r4. Only reason i know this is because i put a 700 in it and connectect the tv cable to the bracket. it was awhile ago so i might be mistaken.
