my buddy owns a 85 Gt mustang and he bought 4.10's for it
wil they fit my car?

Not unless you swap the whole axle!

Rarely do GM and Ford share parts, unless they buy from the same outside manufacturer like Tremec who supplies T56 transmissions to quite a few companies.
