I had an hesitation under load for a long time. It was really noticable in 6th gear at low rpms at high load. When I hit the gas around 1800 rpm in 6th the knock retard would go to 4 and then 12 and I would feel a hesitation. After replacing and checking everything on the car I decided to reprogram my car so that no more than 4 degrees can be taken out at low rpms and now I have no more hesitation.
