Is it possible to unplug and plug in a 6sp harness so you don't have to do all the wiring?

The wiring is not all that hard. You've got:

- VSS
- reverse lights
- reverse lockout (if you want to)
- neutral saftey switch (if you want it)

Those are all real easy, just buy the connecters (about $10 buck each from gmpartsdirect.com) all the wires you need are either in the A4 harness, or in the old plug that went to the auto, both of which are right there easy to get to.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but the wiring is the easiest part! Have fun getting that master cylinder in and the pedals all hooked up right, that was a PITA for me.

Does anyone sell 6 speed conversion kits? Or do you just have to find a parts car?

 

You can look in the for sale section of this board, there is usually somone on there who is selling all the stuff to swap. Otherwise go here that has all the information you need to know, and has links to places with swap packages.
