60k miles, massive black smoke, backfire, misfire on 3, and running extreamly rich.

I have a 95 v6 camaro that was converted to a 96 lt1 with the obd2 computer. car engine, and trans have 60k miles. Here are the problems I can't seem to fix, and the problems I have fixed.
Can't fix, and I need help
Engine studders, extremely rough idle, and blows tons of black smoke out the back, won't shift into overdrive. This all happened at the same time. I was driving down the free way and it felt like it hit a brick wall.

replaced Spark plug wires with MSD8.5's, changed plugs, replaced EGR, added simulators for rear o2's, flushed fuel injectors with cleaner.

when I rev the car it actually backfires, its like beyond loud, I didn't think it was possible with the obd2 computer, but I guess I'm wrong.

Problems I think I have fixed
-One wheel wonder- added powertraks locker rearend, makes it lock up but wheel hop was so bad it blew my axel bump stops out.

installed polyurethane full suspension kit, with engine and trans mounts, helped a lot with wheel hop but it made the ride really rough, I can feel the engine a lot more. The car went from wheel hop 95 percent down to like 5 percent on wot, and no need for bump stops.

DTC's
incorrect vehicle speed- this only happens when I do a huge burnout I don't know why it comes on though... weird
car running to lean - but still blows tons of black smoke out the back
o2 bank 1 sensor 2 - no activity, checked with scanner and there is tons of activity, and its not bogus data its healthy data. full sweep.
o2 bank 1 sensor 1 - low voltage, check with scanner and there is activity, but it seems to stick at .446 volts for longer then I like, takes a few seconds then it starts working.

I have BBK headers and no cat, thats why I have o2 sims for the rear o2's. the car is almost undrivable, I also get 160 miles to the tank compaired to 260. I don't know what to do anymore. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

02 bank 1 sensor 1 could be part of the problem but it really sounds like you may have pcm problems. Other than that i'm really stuck here.

If you replaced the after-cat O2 sensors with sims, why do you have "tons of activity, and its not bogus data its healthy data. full sweep" on o2 bank 1 sensor 2? That's the after-cat sensor, and activity from the sim should be over a fairly narrow range. Have you tried switching the left and right side after-cat sims to see if the problem/code follows the sim (faulty sim) or stays on Bank 1 (faulty wiring)?

Its normal for the pre-car sensor to start "cold" at about 450mV. They both should be that way on cold start, and gradually start to move away from that voltage as they hear up. Takes a minute or so. You say Bank 1 acts this way "for a few seconds".... does Bank 2 act the same way? If not, how does Bank 2 act?

car running to lean - but still blows tons of black smoke out the back
How do you know its "running to(o) lean"? What is the A/F ratio in closed loop? What is the A/F ratio in PE mode (WOT)? How can it be running lean and pouring out black smoke? Doesn't make any sense at all.

Wild guess - you have the O2 sensors totally mis-wired, possibly having swapped the front and rear sensor harnesses.

Re: 60k miles, massive black smoke, backfire, misfire on 3, and running extreamly ric

I was just guessing that running rich would mean black smoke because of the access gas, and I didn't think it was possible to hook the o2's up backwards because of the connectors, one is straight 4 pin and the rears are box 4 pins. One thing that I was wondering was that the 96 camaro had just one cat. I'm not sure if I'm right on this, since my car is all mixed parts. I have one o2 for each header, then two sims, it almost looks like one sim is before the cat and the other one is after the cat. I replaced my plugs today and made no difference. The computer said it was running lean, I forgot the error code, my bad. I have to barrow the scanner from work on Monday.

All 96 and 97 LT1's had two cats. There was one O2 sensors before EACH of the two cats, and one O2 sensor after EACH of the two cats.

it almost looks like one sim is before the cat and the other one is after the cat.
Are the sims "installed" in something? They plug into the harness connectors and just hang there. How could you have one "before" the cat and one "after" the cat? I still think you have a wiring problem, even more after reading that explanation.
