Unhappy 6 spd burnout on nitto's

I just had a set of nitto's installed on my car yesterday and I decided to try and heat them up and launch the car a couple of times this morning and I could not do a burnout. I have only owned the car a couple of weeks now and had never tried to do a burnout. I would rev the motor up to about 2000 rpm and dump the clutch holding the brake and gas with my right foot and it would slip the clutch and bog the car. I can just rev it up and dump the clutch and it will spin them pretty good. When it had the Kumho tires I could just give it over half trottle in 1st without using the clutch and spin them. Is it the tires not letting it do a burnout or do I have some kind of traction control bogging the car down?

It's hard to do a burnout with sticky tires and no line lock on dry pavement with sticky tires. At the track, you can back into the water box and that makes the whole thing much easier. But on dry pavement, you just need to hit them harder to get them to spin.

That, and be careful on how hard you hold the car with the brake. Too much and you'll engage the rear brakes, which could (I know) bog down the car.

also, i would say u should rev it up higher, like around 3k-4k at least, it's cause u gotta wait for the tires to start spinnin before u hit the brakes
