Which 58mm throttle body

Which 58mm throttle body has the bores centered exactly over the stock location?
I have my intake off and plan to port it to 58mm from the stock 52mm openings. I dont have the 58mm throttle body yet though so I will simply take 3mm off all the way around each bore on the intake. I understand some aftermarket t.b.'s bores are off center and some are on center not sure which one(s) though. Any help in eliminating or selecting one will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I'll tell you which one to get....

Your stock one

Someone on this board or another with all the bolt ons reported a -6 HP "gain" from a bigger TB.....

If you are absolutely dead set on getting a 58MM TB--stay away from Holley. Many people seem to have a lot of trouble with these.

If you car is relatively stock then I would recommend against a 58 mm TB. You best bet would be to put that money towards something useful like a gear or headers.

when I first got my car it had very bad hesitation when I stomped on it, maybe its all in my head I don't know, but my first mods were a 58mm Edlbrock TB, ported and matched intake, & granatelli Mass air sensor...with just that it dramatically improved Throttle response...But keep in mind your engine is only going to use as much air as it needs .02

but if you are going to go with a 58mm TB I recommend Edlebrock or BBK rather, no problems here.

I agree with IDOXLR8. Unless you have some serious engine mods, you're just wasting your money.

OK, damn, sorry....
I have serious mods (heads, cam, inj, pcm, headers, gears, ect) and I putting this thing back together now but dont want to spend the $$ on the t.b. it can wait and its easily swapped out but I want to port it NOW. Did I mention NOW?

So.... back to my original question, which one has the bores centered over the stock locations?

I have a holley and it seem to be pretty centered. You can start porting now but you may still need to clean it up a little when you get your new TB so you may as well waite or bore it more then 58mm's. It wont hurt a thing.

also if you go to www.scfyb.com a guy there named headhunter has been trying to sell his unused 58mm tb and intake for $300. Might still be for sell.

My holley is centered...we just took 3mm out each bore and had no problem.

Holley TB's are a pain in the *** though....

With the mods in my sig-I had a 52mm BBK/Edelbrock and went with the 58mm Holley-a waste of money-bigger is not always better.
