on a stock motor its pointless.....its a waste of money for like 5hp and i hear the bigger throttle bodys make throttle response a little slower

if ur not putting out alot of power, its not worth it

besides, the intake ports are only 52mm so even by putting a 58mm on you will only get 52mm out of it.

A 58mm tb gives you so much more throttle response its not even funny.

I might suggest you buy the thing (cheap), sell it for a reasonable price, then use the money for some different performance parts.

Honestly, the response is so much better with a 58mm tb. Get one, match your intake to it, and let the other mods begin. It will soon become an advantage to the mods you do next. If you can get one for a good price go ahead and pick it up. Some people say its not worth it, but after doing it, im a firm believer it helps.

a 58mm on a otherwise stock car will loose HP and torque. It's not a bad thing to have for later mods. If you get a good deal on one, I would just leave it on the shelf untill you stock pile the other parts you want. Prove it to your self. Go to the dyno with your 58mm TB in hand. Test fit it before you go, so you don't waste an hour @ $100 each fitting your TB for the first time. Make a couple of passes with the set up as is, and while the car is cooling down change over to your new TB. 15-20 min later you can make a couple of more pulls get your results and make a decision based on that. If you are fast at swaping tb's you can get out of the shop for $100.
