I was getting ready to install my new throttlebody and noticed that the IAC sensor port ( bottom port ) was threaded, as opposed to being a slip fit as the stock version on my 97 Z28.... Can somebody please give me a heads up on this.

Just change out the bottom plate with your old one if you still have it. What you have on the new one sounds like it's for a 93.

 

Thanks for the reply....unfortunately the stock IAC plate is not interchangeable with the AS&M 58mmm throttle body. I did talk with the guy's @ AS&M and they are going to swap it out for me.

I have the AS&M 58mm throttle body and I placed my stock IAC housing on it.

 

If you have a stock intake manifold, the 58mm opening will be blocked as the stock opening is only 52mm.
